We would like to extend a very warm welcome to the website of Challney High School for Boys on behalf of all the staff, students and governors. Having been judged "outstanding" overall by Ofsted in 2007 and also for English in 2008, we are very proud of our school and of the remarkable progress our pupils make.
We seek to promote and celebrate individual and collective achievements by providing the best possible education for learners in a pleasant, happy and caring academic environment. Developing excellent attitudes to learning in its widest sense and fostering respect, courtesy, consideration and friendship are central to our ethos and our school community.
All this is achieved by working together in pursuit of our common goal - "High achievement and access for all are our shared responsibilities".
The website gives you a thorough and up-to-date introduction to school life and detail of what we have to offer as a learning community. In addition, visitors are welcome to visit the school by appointment and we would be very pleased to show you around our school at another time if you are unable to attend the Open Day or Open Evening.
