Love Luton Half Marathon & 10K Run 2019

Challney High School for Boys and the Chiltern Learning Trust helped raise an incredible £7,990 for Lady Zia Wernher School (alongside other runners) in the Love Luton Half Marathon & 10K Run 2019.

Lady Zia Wernher School is a local Primary Community Special School educating children between the ages of 3 and 11 years. All children attending the school have a learning difficulty; and additional needs which can include physical disabilities, autistic spectrum condition, medical requirements or a combination of these additional needs.   

 Rayman Khan, Key Organiser for Lady Zia Wernher's 10K run (and School Parent), said "We are overwhelmed by the generosity of supporters. We had an ambitious target but to see £7, 990 is mind-blowing. A huge thank you to Challney Boys for their support”.

Aabid Khan (Associate Assistant Headteacher) said "Challney High School for Boys were extremely proud to raise funds for Lady Zia Wernher School. It was great to see so many charities being represented on the day; a magnificent reflection of the great town we serve”.
